I always believed in empowering women to reach their full potential. I began my career as a journalist, following my passion for writing. Then I landed an unexpected job teaching English as a Second Language for the local school board. The love I had for teaching children began my path of mindfulness and growth. When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I decided to spend the next six years as a stay-at-home Mom, raising four beautiful children (all born in 3 years).
I live in a small community near Lake Huron, in Exeter, Ontario. I often describe my household as organized Chaos and writes a blog all about the inner worth of women and mindful parenting. “Musings of Organized Chaos” is relatable to any parent trying to find balance in their home and women who truly need to hear that they are not alone in this world. I speak about inner strength and the power of serving others in a life of gratitude. I love to document conversations and laughable moments with my children, but I'm not afraid to talk about the tough days that bring me to tears.
During my time home with the kids, I studied for a BA in both English and Psychology. I became a support for twin moms, a breastfeeding advocate, and then a surrogate mother for a gay couple - twice. My journey helping others has been a unique adventure which led me to create my company, called Canadian Surrogacy Community I now concentrates my time to help couples through their struggles with infertility, and LGBTQ members looking to build their families through surrogacy.
I am a conscious parent to my high-spirited children and with that comes challenges, but I'm enamored with the creativity and beauty of these miracles every day. My intuitive nature and strong empathy for others, is what essentially drove me to build my surrogacy company from the ground up with no business training or education. I am a woman connected deeply with the desire to help others and it encourages me to keep expanding on my services. I continue to bring awareness to issues close to my heart in my writing and speaking.
